Going Canoeing

This was my first time canoeing and before we even got out of the push off spot we tipped over and the canoe crushed my leg. It hurt really bad but I got back in and went down river. It was really fun. There was these sand bar stops where you could get out and swim for a bit or just stop and relax. Every time we came to one Lexus wanted to get out and swim some more but the weather was getting worse and it was starting to rain so we needed to get to the drop off as soon as possible. It was so windy it seemed like in some sections we weren't even moving no matter how hard we paddled. Finally about the last half hour on the river the weather got good and the water was so calm. Why couldn't it have been like that the whole time. It took 3 1/2 hours to get to the drop off. It was way fun. Hopefully we can go again before it gets too cold here.
